Paper Calendaring Mills: The rolls are manufactured by the advance centrifugal process & are primarily a clear carbon chilled cast iron or a Cr-Ni alloyed chill cast iron.. After casting the rolls are annealed to relieve the internal stresses thus improving the strength of the material. After heat treatment the rolls are machined & ground as per users requirement.
