Process: These rolls are manufactured by the advanced centrifugal technique, which is the most modern and sophisticated method to produce duplex rolls. With controlled rotational speed & precise pouring temperature control to produce rolls, the centrifugal process gives the following advantages .
1. Relatively lighter impurities like like oxides & gas float more quickly towards the center of rotation from where they are easily machined thus giving a clears working outer surface.
2. Because of the much-reduced cross section of the shell material, a faster cooling rate is obtained thus resulting in uniformity in the microstructure resulting in consistent hardness throughout the shell material.
